Say huh? What is a Shutterbug? Shutterbugs are photographers, amateur and pro, that meet monthly at the Greenville Public Library. The club is designed for photographer enthusiasts in and around Hunt County to meet and share. Shutterbugs have monthly themed contests and participate in other community interests. To join the Shutterbugs send an email to hcshutterbugs@hotmail.com and include your name, city, and level of interest…pro, hobby, amateur, student, etc. We send out reminders and updates on meetings – as well as a recap after each meeting for those who cannot attend, notices on interesting photo opportunities etc. We would love to have you be a part of a great growing club!

With 2010 coming to a close, there are many photograph contests in sight! As I learn of them, I will post to share!
Country music band: No Justice
No Justice & the Texas Music Chart are giving away three custom iPods and an autographed guitar! All you have to do is submit a live photo taken of the band from one of their concerts. Four winners will be chosen. Three of the winners will win a custom IPod…and the best photo will win an autographed guitar from the band. In addition, the winning photos will be featured on Texas Music Chart’s and No Justice’s website. Email your submission to Katie@shanemedia.com . Make sure you include your full name, address and phone number. Contest thru October 2010!!!
Hunt County Shutterbugs!
New Photography Club for amateur and professional photographers in and around Hunt County Texas. They meet monthly at the Greenville Public Library. Each month has a themed contest!! Rally ‘Round Greenville
Art Show September 17-19! The art show will have entries in Paintings, Photography, Computer Art and Ceramics this year! There will be a Photowalk Contest the week prior and winners being part of the Art Show. There will also be additional entries – ALL ENTRIES are FREE!!! Cash Prizes and Awards. Details coming SOON! All accepted entries are eligible for sell during the Festival with commissions being paid back to the artists!
Arts and Jazz Festival
Still in planning stages. Currently set for December. Jazz Music and Art Show…stay tuned for details!

Come on down to PBL Studio & Gallery on July 14 and 15 from 2pm to 4pm as we have our first art class featuring Mimi Palmer Hensley!
Our *Togetherness Art Class* is only $20 each day per person and includes all materials. If you want to personalize your art with photos, post cards, etc., be sure to bring those with you. We welcome parent-child, siblings, and friends so you can do art with a buddy! Seats may become limited so reserve your spot today! And don’t forget – wear old clothes
