Saturday, July 3 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm, PBL Studio & Gallery is sponsoring a silent auction to benefit C.U.R.E. Greenville (Citizens for Urban Renewal Effort).  Various artists and business have donated items for the auction.  We also have a $1 raffle drawing for a chance to win one of three art pieces.  After a day in downtown Greenville…join the Fireworks Frenzy Fun at the Hampton Inn, where we will announce the winners, from 7:30pm – 10:00pm and enjoy the fireworks show indoors – swimming pool, meeting room, guest rooms!!!  Party Pass is $10 in advance or $12 at the door.  If you would like to stay overnight, the Hampton Inn is offering room rates of $79 for this event to include food and beverages (non-alcoholic).  Party Pass funds and 30% of room rate is being donated to C.U.R.E. Greenville!  Come on out for a fun filled day in celebration of our great nation!

May 22 was a beautiful day for many things.  The Backstreet Bash Street Festival was a great success!  There was so much to see and do – it was amazing.  Around 11:00 am, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce came by with a wonderful bucket of goodies and a ribbon to cut!  Our own mayor was present as well as many other members and friends.  I was fortunate enough to meet new friends and artists last Saturday.  I look forward to working with this awesome artist community!
