Northeast Texas has a treasure of talented artists of all ages with nowhere to exhibit. Have you ever been told that your art is amazing and you ought to sell it only to discover that being an aspiring artist, there aren’t many avenues to travel? PBL Studio & Gallery wants to change that. We are an aspiring artists’ based gallery, driven by those that simply want to be a part of the artist community and need a place to be seen. We do not embody artists whose works sell for thousands of dollars. We do not have funding backed by a major benefactor, or operate as a ‘vanity’ gallery. All of these attributes add up to a very difficult time for those who truly desire to create. With PBL Studio & Gallery, we hope to change that and provide enthusiastic artists an opportunity in achieving their goals.
PBL Studio & Gallery is based on decent people sharing artistic and creative ideas and bringing them into action. We operate as an artist collective and value promising and mid-career artists. Members of the Gallery will meet on occasion to share knowledge, conjure up themes and contests, and more. We are willing to showcase unconventional art forms occasionally. We are centered on the concept being an artistic conduit for serious and undiscovered artists to exhibit art and reach out to the community in order to cultivate artistic growth and inspire lives. The gallery space is approximately 600 square feet in size and stylized for quality visual art presentation. Our corner windowed store front is visible to both pedestrian and street traffic. The west wall features a hanging surface of approximately 37 feet and the east wall has approximately 25 feet. All walls are a neutral color so as not to take away from the art being displayed. Portable walls are currently under construction to add to the display space.
PBL Studio & Gallery is available to host small special events, meetings and gatherings. The studio, which is still under construction, will be available to photographers who don’t have a location for indoor shoots for a nominal fee.
